As we continue to grow we are now looking for an experienced Digital EDA Applications Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be a key regional technical leader as part of our fast-paced European EDA Applications Engineering Team providing technical support and innovative solutions to our Semiconductor and ASIC Industry Customers across the Nordic Region.
You will ideally be based in Finland with Helsinki, Tampere and Oulu locations considered.

Responsibilities
- As well as the customer support role you will have the ability to mentor and develop more junior team members as well as work with Synopsys’ R&D teams to enhance and develop solutions to the most challenging customer problems.
- You will be working at Synopsys offices, regularly at Customer premises both locally and globally, engaging directly with customer design teams, and have the opportunity for significant international travel.
Key Requirements
- You are enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn with strong people and communication skills and a passion for customer support and problem solving.
- Knowledge of Synopsys EDA tools such as Fusion Compiler, Design Compiler, IC Compiler II or PrimeTime would be an advantage although additional training will be provided where needed.
- If you are qualified to degree level in a semiconductor or electronic engineering subject and have significant relevant experience in the semiconductor, ASIC or EDA industries this is an excellent opportunity to join a world class industry-leading organisation and help to shape the future.
