Tasks
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project & Service Automation Engineer based in the northern part of Sweden (Piteå-Skellefteå-Umeå area) to join a dynamic team working on various projects and services.
What will you be doing?•You will configure and service Quality Control Systems in the Sheet Manufacturing / Paper Manufacturing industries, working with Honeywell Experion MX QCS control systems and similar legacy systems•You will perform system troubleshooting, preventative & corrective maintenance, system configuration & implementation, hardware, and software upgrades, power-on support, schematic support, point building, consulting, and application programming with the support of our highly experienced QCS teams.
Requirements
- Newly graduated or less than 3 years graduated.
- Degree in engineering (mechatronics, computer science & mechanical) and/or equivalent relevant experience in the paper industry in QCS, CWS, CD actuator, Camera systems Hardware & Software or sensor technology.
- You may have some experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer-based process control systems, or you can be a fresh graduate ready to take the first step in your career.
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Driving license.
- Willingness to travel within Sweden and on occasion Norway
- Position requires, when trained, to be on call 24/7 within a rota and be flexible in day-to-day work responding to last-minute breakdowns and callouts.
- Ability to speak and write in Swedish & English
- Strong technical skills with a proven ability to solve problems
