You contribute to added customer value, a strong brand and increased sales by setting customer centric communication plans across own and paid channels
You work towards aligned and cross-functional goals, driving omni sales performance and customer centricity in all parts of your work
You are responsible for setting a customer centric communications plan for all paid and owned channels, incl. briefing of agencies and content teams, to drive customer, brand & sales goals for a customer target group in the region.
In addition to the customer segment you are responsible for, you are also the key point of contact for media planners and stakeholders in the sales market and responsible for the total media plan
Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
Communications/Media Planning
- Be immersed in the regional communications plan and adjust with local deviations based on insights about different customer target groups, commercial patterns and growth targets
- Set a daily/weekly customer communications plan for all paid and owned channels, incl. site and store communications areas through collaboration with Commercial and Customer Activation teams
- Set segmentation & content mix for owned channels (email, push) and site
Media campaign management
- Based on global media strategies, set the planning, implementation and follow-up of the local paid media strategy
- Drive a successful implementation of global marketing campaigns across all bought media (Brand, Consideration)
- Brief & coordinate media and communications plan to media agency/ies in region
- Brief & coordinate communications plan to regional content teams & production hub
- Key contact and responsible for the day-to-day local media agency/ies collaboration
- Communicate with local PR department on media strategy and potential opportunities
- Perform media audits to ensure media buying efficiency
Media/Activity Budget & Follow Up
- Perform analysis and share results and learnings for the different customer groups per media channel on a weekly and monthly basis (for Media Planner with customer groups YW/W/M/F)
- Perform weekly and monthly analysis of total online traffic and revenue per marketing channel (for Media Planner with responsibility for cross customer groups activities)
- Drive allocation of paid brand & consideration media budget investments to different customer groups and media channels, following up on results coupled to spending
- Handle invoices related to media spend
Customer
- Identify customer growth potential connected to media investments together with regional and local customer activation teams
- Know the customers in your region and markets and infuse insight into communications planning – seize opportunities to new customer acquisition and retention
- Prefer a degree in Marketing, communication or business or relevant qualifications
- 5+ years of working experience in marketing or media roles
- Expert in paid brand & consideration channels (TV, OOH, OLV, Display, Social, Print etc)
- Good understanding of local media landscape and how media agencies operate
- Good understanding of email, push & store marketing
- High analytical ability
- Structured, organized and efficient
- High level of English with native level of Japanese language
- Strategic experience from driving brand & customer growth for different target groups, preferably from relevant local markets
- Operative media planning experience
- Experience from planning activity calendars for multiple channels
- Experience from setting and managing large media budgets
- Meriting with competence, digital/tech and omni ways of working
