Job description
- Plan and execute in depth technical activity, influencing the direction of activities/plans and providing technical insight and guidance to others.
- Investigate and help resolve issues on customer’s network and IT estates using agreed troubleshooting methodologies.
- Develop the central document repository and to ensure knowledge sharing across the team and enable best practice
- Supporting and taking ownership of all size of projects to develop the capabilities of the Ideal Service Centre
- Supporting wider team with knowledge share, via knowledge base communications (emails, how-to guides etc.) and contribution at team meeting
- Configure and install various network devices and services.
- Responsible for Level 3 support and escalations for network issues.
- Work closely with internal and external teams for problem resolution.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades of systems and networks.
- Check on resource utilization for trending and capacity planning purposes.
- Adhere to policies on change management to ensure success of such projects.
- Implement security measures and ensure that policies are followed to reach the required level of security.
- Ability to work independently.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge about Cisco, HP, Dell & Juniper Routing & Switching, Cisco & Alcatel VOIP knowledge, Cisco Security appliances, San Switches.
Education:
- Bachelor's/Engineering (Preferred)
Experience:
- Total work: 4 years (Required)
