What will I be doing?
- Drive in a safe and responsible manner, respecting the road rules and the safety concerns of the guest.
- Take all possible precautions and measures to avoid accidents or incidents where delays or injury could occur.
- Ensure the GM, GM’s family, or hotel guests are transported from the hotel in a prompt and efficient manner, the pick-up and drop-off times are strictly adhered to and that they arrive at their destination on time.
- Has knowledge of the hotel facilities and services as well as basic knowledge of Hilton and other properties in Malaysia.
- Updated with information on facilities, attractions, and places of interest, sights and activities in and around the city.
- Dispatch items or documents as and when needed by the hotel.
- Assists the Front Office in the role of a Bellman when not performing driver duties.
- Apply Hilton Brand standards in each and every action.
- Ensure that the hotel’s vehicle safe, maintained, serviced regularly and road worthy.
- Promptly report all issues related to vehicle safety to the related department and take corrective action to fix any problems.
- Ensure that preventative maintenance is taken on all vehicles to keep them in working order to avoid costly repairs.
- Take great care when driving to avoid any damage that may occur in the course of daily activities, this also includes driving in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring to obey the road rules and driving courteously at all times.
- The Management reserves the right to change / extend this job description if necessary, at any point of time during her / his employment.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
