As a Scientific Collaboration Specialist, you set up and lead actions to develop the company's various chemistry and radiochemistry projects (process automation, precursor synthesis, sterilization) in conjunction with external partners (universities, research centers, hospitals, companies). You are responsible for setting up and monitoring collaborative R&D projects.
Responsibilities
- You participate in defining and negotiating the strategy, terms and objectives of collaborations.
- Identify, target and prospect potential research partners.
- You establish and develop strong links with the various partners.
- You assess the business interest of projects and draw up reports.
- Evaluate the resources required to bring the project to fruition and draw up a business case.
- You assess the risks that may arise during project implementation (commercial, technical, IP).
- You define timelines and monitor them, in collaboration with partners.
- Together with partners, you define and circumscribe the specifications of products to be developed internally or externally.
- You ensure the transition of projects to R&D.
- You analyze the results and measure the profitability of each agreement.
- You monitor scientific and/or technological developments and take part in conferences.
- You will communicate proactively and frequently with your manager.
Profile
- You have a PhD or Master’s degree with a scientific orientation. Good knowledge of chemistry/radiochemistry is an asset.
- You have experience in project management.
- You ideally have some initial experience of a commercial nature.
- Knowledge of the scientific industry (quality standards, regulatory requirements, etc.).
- You are fluent in French and English.
- You are willing to travel (less than 25% of the time).
- You have good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- You are flexible, available and proactive.
- You are at ease in commercial relations.
- You are solution-oriented and innovative. You are able to synthesize and analyze.
- You are autonomous, have a strategic vision, a sense of priorities and initiative.
